Point Park University creative writing alumni Josh Hrala ‘12, Andie Fullmer '14 and Patrick Morris ‘14 founded The Arcanist, a web-based literary magazine focused on genre-based flash fiction and in-depth looks into pop culture’s biggest stories.
"As an assistant account executive, I am responsible for creating content for social media, blog posts and newsletters, reviewing content for educational resources, media outreach to key trades and occasionally national media, and coordinate with vendors for trade show participation," she said.

Lauren Gerlowski — who graduated magna cum laude from Point Park University this past Saturday with bachelor’s degrees in both global cultural studies and dance — recently presented a research paper at the American Association of Geographers 2018 Annual Meeting in New Orleans.

"Working on Point Park's new Pittsburgh Playhouse is amazing! I worked in the existing Playhouse in Oakland and am very familiar with those theaters. I can only imagine what faculty and students will be able to do in the new Playhouse," said Philip Irvin.
"The classes I took required that I go out and shoot and write stories on tight deadlines - sometimes solo, sometimes in a team - which is the exact skill you need when you take your first job," said Sasso.
