How did you land the position of customer success manager for Othot?
I found out about the position through some friends and old colleagues at my previous position. Othot was very appealing to me since I used to work in the admissions office at Point Park while I was a student. I loved that work study position and I thought this position with Othot would be a great fit for me! Othot's product is very unique and exciting for the higher education space. What really drew me in was how they treat their customers and how each customer views their relationship with Othot as a partnership and not just a product.
Tell us about the work you do.
As a customer success manager, my job is to make sure our customers are getting the maximum value out of the product. I work to make sure new customers are on-boarded, trained and understand the platform. I help current customers by answering any questions they have and working with them to reach and achieve their enrollment goals through the platform. My primary focus is to keep customers engaged and happy with the product!
How have your Point Park classes helped you professionally?
My Point Park classes gave me a lot of knowledge to prepare me for work in this industry. There’s not a single class that has not been useful in my everyday work.
What are your favorite Point Park memories?
I really enjoyed my time in the admissions office. As a tour guide, I was able to tell prospective students my story and talk about how great Point Park is as a university. Some of my favorite memories are those I created while in the SAEM Club and Music Association Club. We had the opportunity to plan and execute events for the campus — putting what we were learning in classes to use!
Final thoughts?
Point Park University gave me the tools, skills and knowledge to prepare me for the working world and I could not have picked a better fitting school. I am very thankful that I went to Point Park and completed my SAEM degree as it provides me the opportunity to work in an industry I love!
