"My best advice would be to get as involved as possible and enjoy every minute of your time at Point Park, because it goes by so fast!"
Why did you choose Point Park University?
I chose Point Park because I loved the fact that it was right in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh. I transferred from a small school and the small class sizes here made my decision easy.
What has been your favorite class so far in your major?
As cliché as it sounds, all of the human resource classes I've taken have been favorites of mine. Each class gives you the opportunity to learn something that will be helpful to you in the future, and all of them have been equally impactful for me.
Where is the best view of the city?
To me, the best view of Pittsburgh is probably driving through the Fort Pitt tunnels toward Downtown and seeing the skyline and Heinz Field.
Where is your favorite place to study on campus?
My favorite study spots on campus are the lobby on the second floor of Academic Hall and our on-campus Starbucks.
What's the best part about summer in Pittsburgh?
The best thing about Pittsburgh in the summer is obviously the Pirates! I love going to games, and PNC Park is just a short walk from campus. #LetsGoBucs
As a Pittsburgh native, what unique spots in the city can you tell us about?
I think the entire Shadyside neighborhood is an awesome place to explore. There are so many great restaurants and awesome shopping.
What advice would you give to incoming students?
My best advice would be to get as involved as possible and enjoy every minute of your time at Point Park, because it goes by so fast!
