Point Park University's Rowland School of Business is excited to offer a new accelerated MBA program, launching in Spring 2025. Through this 36-credit program, eligible students can complete their Master of Business Administration degree in just one year.
With courses offered on-ground and online, our accelerated MBA program offers the same distinctive benefits of our traditional MBA program with the added advantage of a faster completion time. This program is ideal for highly motivated individuals interested in quickly growing their skill set and leveling up their careers.
Students will take four courses for three semesters. The accelerated MBA program follows a cohort model, allowing students to build meaningful relationships with their classmates over the course of the program.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the accelerated MBA program, students must:
Have a 3.50 or above QPA.
Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA from one semester to the next in the accelerated MBA program. If a student does not maintain the required 3.0 GPA, they will be moved to the traditional MBA program, in which students can take a maximum of three courses or nine credits. Transferring back to accelerated MBA program is not permitted.
Take 4-courses each semester to complete the program in one year (three semesters).
Meet with their academic or online student advisor at least once during each semester in the program.
