Aviation Management Degree

Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management

Offered in hybrid and fully online formats

Launch Your Career in a Growing Global Industry

Point Park University's Rowland School of Business offers a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management, providing a seamless pathway for community college aviation students to continue their education and earn a bachelor's degree upon completing their associate's degree.

This program prepares students for careers as a pilot, as well as diverse non-flying careers in the aviation industry, including roles in aviation operations, business management and personnel administration.

High school students interested in aviation can also jumpstart their college journey by earning dual-enrolled credits through the Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) Aviation Academy, paving the way for a future in aviation-related fields. CCBC students may contact John Higgs, Ph.D. at john.higgs@ccbc.edu, senior dean of the James M. Johnson School of Aviation Sciences, for more information.

Industry Recognition and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Partnerships

  • UAS Collegiate Training Initiative: We are proud members of this FAA-recognized program that acknowledges universities, colleges and technical schools that equip students for careers in drone operations.
  • Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) Eligibility: Through our partnership with CCBC,  students can qualify for the R-ATP at 1,250 flight hours, reducing the total hours needed for airline eligibility.
  • Flight Training Partner: Students receive professional flight instruction through our primary flight training partner, Pittsburgh Flight Training Center. For questions about PFTC, contact them at pftcdispatch@corporateairllc.com or 412-466-1111.
