Point Park University is pleased to announce 12 new full-time faculty members teaching various disciplines at its Downtown Pittsburgh campus. These faculty bring their industry expertise and real-world professional experience into the classes they teach.

"Point Park distinguishes itself through the personalized learning experiences its professors offer to individual students and cohorts," said Kelly Pascarella, Ed.D., a new assistant professor in the School of Education and alumna of the Ed.D. in Leadership and Administration program. "Each professor brings a depth of expertise, passion and experience to their work."

With a faculty-to-student ratio of 13:1 and an average class size of 15 to 20 students, professors at Point Park can work closely with their students, engaging them in career-oriented, hands-on learning and professional mentoring.

"What I find most rewarding about Point Park University is the opportunity to work alongside the remarkable faculty and staff. The university provides students access to accomplished professionals dedicated to fostering their individual interests and specific career goals," said Jason Georgiades, a new visiting artist in residence in the Department of Cinema Arts
