SAEM Professor Presents on Storytelling Data at Marketing Conference Thursday, September 22, 2016
Sports, Arts and Entertainment Management Assistant Professor Paige Beal, M.B.A., presented on the topic "Storytelling Data" as part of a panel discussion on "Effective Strategies for Teaching Analytics" at the Marketing Management Association Educators' Conference Sept. 16, 2016, in Providence, R.I.
"I shared techniques for teaching students how to deliver data analytics in a manner that is relevant and clear to their audiences. Some of these techniques include the creation of infographics and the use of visuals to make data easily understandable," Beal explained.
Beal was on the panel with marketing professors from Babson College, Middle Tennessee State University and Rowan University. She will serve as co-chair of the Marketing Management Association Educators' Conference next year, which will take place in Pittsburgh.
