Professors, Alum Present at American Society for Competitiveness Conference Wednesday, November 20, 2013
Dimitris Kraniou, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Department of Global Management and Organization, Archish Maharaja, Ed.D., assistant professor and director of the M.B.A. program and Dawn Parasolick, 2012 Point Park M.B.A. alumna, presented the following papers at the American Society for Competitiveness 24th Annual Conference held in Pittsburgh, Nov. 7-9, 2013.
- "Neo-Mercantilism in an Age of Austerity: Thoughts on the Global Economic Pathology" and "Special Session for Honors Program Students: Leadership for Competitive Advantage," Dimitris Kraniou, Ph.D.
- "Today's Fraud Levels, Have They Gone Wild? The Need for Forensic Accounting," Archish Maharaja, Ed.D., and Dawn Parasolick, M.B.A.
In addition, Maharaja served as chairperson for a session on "Higher Education and Human Capital Formation."
