Why did you decide to pursue an M.B.A. degree?

An M.B.A. was a natural choice for me since I earned my bachelor's degree in business administration. It was a great fit to enhance what I learned in my undergrad classes. In today's business world of increasing competition, no one can deny that a higher degree is very important for landing a good job and moving up to a management position.

How have your M.B.A. classes helped you as a supervisor?

My M.B.A. classes have deepened my analytical skills, which I use at work when dealing with complex guest issues and situations. Also, group projects and the diversity of classmates in all of M.B.A. classes helped me to become a good team player and an effective supervisor in a diverse workforce.

What are your career goals?

I have always been interested in working in the hospitality industry. I plan to eventually return to my home country. My short-term career goal is to obtain a management position in one of the four to five star luxury hotels in Chiang Mai, Thailand. My long-term career goal is to open up my own business (bakery, catering or a bed and breakfast) which would combine my hobbies, interests and hospitality skills.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

I really enjoyed all of the M.B.A. classes at Point Park. The small class sizes allowed for personal attention from the professors, who were always available when questions arose. Also, the diversity of classmates was another great contribution to my overall learning experience.
