Point Park University political science alumnus and former Coro Pittsburgh fellow Laier-Rayshon Smith '15, is now a dual master's degree candidate pursuing degrees in urban planning and design studies at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Additionally, Smith won an American Planning Association Foundation Scholarship in 2019.

Tell us about the new courses you are offering this fall.
We are offering introductory courses in environmental studies this year including our new course this fall: Nature and Society (SOC/GCS 194).
Also, we are offering courses in international studies (e.g. International Law) for political science majors and an introductory comparative politics course that we believe benefits all incoming and current Point Park students. Learn about this course titled Introduction to the Study of Government Systems (POLS 250), which is scheduled for this fall.
