Point Park University Associate Professor of Forensic Science Edward Strimlan, M.D., recently welcomed the Hampton Township Citizens Police Academy to the Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) House on campus

Strimlan discussed a variety of forensic science-related topics with the group, ranging from death investigations and crime scene photography to scene search and documentation.

“We liked how the CSI house had three separate crime scenes and scenarios for us to explore,” said Chris Finnigan, officer for the Hampton Township Police Department and founder of the Hampton Township Citizens Police Academy.

Finnegan added: “I have high respect for Dr. Strimlan and what he does. Everyone in the group loved the discussions he conducted. I would recommend Dr. Strimlan and Point Park’s forensic science program to anyone interested in this field.”
