Housing & Tuition Deposit Reserve your space in a Point Park residence hall
Your housing deposit, also known as the maintenance fee, is separate from and in addition to the tuition deposit.
What is the maintenance fee?
For students new to the residence halls, at the time a residence hall contract is submitted by the student to Point Park University, they are required to pay a $250 maintenance fee. This is a one-time fee that is not refunded when the student successfully terminates from the residences hall facilities. The maintenance fee is also not refundable after May 1.
Do I need to pay the maintenance fee or tuition deposit?
- New freshmen and transfer students: To reserve your room, both a tuition deposit and the maintenance fee are required to be paid before you submit your completed contract.
- Returning students who have not previously lived in a Point Park residence hall: To reserve your room, only the maintenance fee is required to be paid before you submit your completed contract.
- Returning students who did live in a Point Park residence hall the previous year: No tuition deposit or maintenance fee is due.
