Outreach & Programming
The Student Health Center has a wide variety of fun, educational programming throughout the year. Check out PointSync for a full schedule of events and details.
Wellness Wednesday
The goal of Wellness Wednesdays is to provide a space for stop-by health promotion to students, staff, and faculty. While most sessions will be geared to the student population, some of the topics will be global and valuable to anyone in the Point Park Community. These live events will be held in high-traffic areas so individuals can stop by and get a quick education on a variety of topics. The goal is to provide meaningful education in less than 5 minutes. Events will be aided with short presentations, handouts, and hands-on activities.
By providing health promotion activities and education to our community at Point Park University, we will change the focus from one of acute care to a culture that values prevention and general wellness. This culture change reduces the cost, both financial and human, of healthcare. By engaging and empowering our community to choose healthy behaviors, we reduce risk and morbidities.
Check out PointSync for Dates and times.
