The Point Park Pioneers represent the leading collegiate esports program in Pittsburgh, PA. As one of the few universities to offer esports as a varsity program, we provide scholarships for our athletes and content team members, creating a comprehensive and supportive environment for our students to not only compete but excel.
Our dedicated esports facility features 16 cutting-edge computer stations and three fully stocked Red Bull coolers for our athletes, thanks to our generous sponsors. Currently, we support competitive teams in Rocket League, Valorant, and League of Legends, and we’re actively exploring opportunities to expand into new games as the industry evolves. Our teams compete in all major collegiate leagues, including NACE, CVAL, CLoL and others, ensuring our players are at the forefront of collegiate esports.
Point Park esports extends scholarships to all athletes and content team members, empowering them to develop their professional skills and jump-start their careers. Our content team is the core of our program, producing all the graphics, animations, music, and videos that define the Pioneer esports brand. Each workstation is equipped with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, DaVinci Resolve, and other editing software ensuring every student has full access to the tools and resources needed for hands-on experience in production, design, and media management.
