Esports Tournament at Point Park University Makes History for Pittsburgh
Friday, May 24, 2019 Point Park University hosted the Steel City Showdown — the first major esports tournament in Pittsburgh history — May 11-12 at its Pittsburgh Playhouse with more than 500 participants and spectators.
Point Park University Partnering with Pro Teams on Esports Tournament
Monday, April 29, 2019 The Pittsburgh Penguins, Cavs Legion GC, Pittsburgh Knights and AbleGamers Charity, are teaming up with Point Park University to host a multi-game esports tournament on May 11-12, 2019, at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. The tournament is presented by the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, iHeart Media and Walmart.
