WPPJ Nominated for College Broadcast Awards Monday, December 21, 2015
For the sixth year in a row, WPPJ staff members are named as category finalists for the annual Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Conference and College Radio Awards.

David Fabilli, professor of broadcasting and adviser of WPPJ, will accompany the group of 10 students to New York City, March 4-6, 2016.
WPPJ is a student-run mixed format station that serves as a training facility for students seeking a career in professional broadcasting.
The Point Park student finalists include:
- "Best Sports Talk Program" for The Tim Zahren Show
- "Best Sports Program" for The Paul Daniels-Matt Kruth Show
- "Best Radio Drama" for Larceny, written and produced by Tyler Polk
"Our students are still among the best in college radio," said Fabilli. "They continue to do excellent work and it's an honor for them to be recognized."
IBS is a national college radio station organization made up of more than 1,000 member stations from across the United States.
