Pittsburgh Sport, Arts, Entertainment, and Media Career Event to be held April 3 Tuesday, March 20, 2012
Keynote speaker Jimmy Krenn
All college students are invited to attend a sport, arts, entertainment, and media career event on Tues., April 3 from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Point Park University's Student Center.
Pittsburgh industry professionals will host half hour panels on various topics including Ad/PR, event management, live entertainment, performing arts, radio, sports teams, TV/cable, and print. After the panel sessions, students will have the opportunity to network with these professionals.
The career event culminates with the personal and professional experience of radio host, standup comedian, and Pittsburgh personality Jimmy Krenn as the keynote speaker. Beginning at 4 p.m., Krenn will give a behind-the-scenes perspective on his career in multimedia.
Among the employers who will be in attendance at the career event are the Pittsburgh Penguins, Rivers Casino, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Radio Disney, VisitPittsburgh, Stage AE/PromoWest, Comcast Spotlight, and the New Hazlett Theater.
