Corporate Ethics Officer at Westinghouse to Discuss "The Challenge of Ethical Leadership" on June 2 Wednesday, May 16, 2012
The Department of Global Management and Organization in the School of Business at Point Park University is hosting a discussion on "The Challenge of Ethical Leadership" led by Jim Buddie, Esq., corporate ethics officer and assistant general counsel for Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. The event will be held on Sat., June 2 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the University Center's GRW Theatre. Pizza and hoagies will be served at noon.
Buddie will engage the audience in an ethics conversation on:
- Ethical issues faced by Westinghouse in the nuclear sales and service industry;
- How the ethical culture at Westinghouse meshes with Toshiba's culture;
- The code of ethics vs. real life ethics; and
- Managers as role models.
