International (F1 visa) Student Employment
F1 visa holders are permitted by law to hold part-time positions on campus as a new Point Park students as long as the jobs are not listed as federal work study positions. There are limited non-federal part-time positions on campus and are not guaranteed.
After one year of full time consecutive semester enrollment, F1 visa holders are eligible for internships and practicums through the Career-Readiness Center and proof of credit registration and government approval.
Continuing students should access their Canvas course “Resources for International Students –New and Returning” for university and government guidance on the process.
