Learning Goals: The class will be educated on different foods from the Japanese culture and Japanese fans.

Objective: The students will be able to taste Japanese food and create Japanese fans.
Materials: Japanese Fans
Tape
Paper
Paint
Rice Crackers
Adaptations to Differentiate Instruction: The class will be shown a variety of Japanese Culture to look at and try on if they do not wish to create their own fan.
Procedure: "Japanese Fans"

The class will be introduced to Japanese fans and how they are mad and used in Japan.

The class will then be given paper and paint to create their own fans.

The fans will then be bound at the bottom for the fan to be used.

The class will then show their peers the fans that they have created.

The class will enjoy a tasty treat of Japanese Rice Crackers and will discuss how they taste compared to the food we eat everyday.
