Educating and empowering women is an essential element of the Rowland School of Business at Point Park University.

The Women In Industry (WIN) initiative exists to accelerate the success of women-identified students and professionals.

By leveraging university and community resources, we strive to engage leaders, effect conversations and encourage allyship through a variety of elevating experiences.

  • WIN WednesdaysThe Women in Industry initiative will explore sustainable ethical practices in its 2024-25 series, emphasizing the critical importance of ethics, not only as a moral obligation but as a strategic asset that can enhance an organization's reputation, performance and long-term success. The series features a Sustainable Ethical Practices virtual certificate program hosted by Dorene Ciletti, Ph.D., and Sandra Mervosh, M.S., SHRM-SCP, SPHR. Sessions are held on Wednesdays during the fall and spring semesters. More info can be found on our events page.
  • WIN Lunchtime Book Club: This virtual, interactive book club held monthly on Friday afternoons features engaging conversations that tie into our theme of sustainable ethical practices. Sessions are moderated by Nancy Furbee of Furbee and Associates LLC and Pat McNellis of The McNellis Compression Planning® System. More info can be found on our events page.
