Incident Response Public Safety's Response to Reported Incidents

All crimes committed on campus are entered into the Department of Public Safety crime log within two business days of the occurrence.

Posting of a crime in the crime log may be temporarily withheld if the release of the information would jeopardize the safety of an individual, jeopardize an ongoing investigation, cause a suspect to flee or evade detection, or result in the destruction of evidence.

Crimes committed off campus, which involve a student and are reported to the police department, are also entered into the log. The crime log is kept on the police department administration floor in Frontier Hall. The log is available for viewing, at the Dispatch Center, upon request.
