Work Orders
How to Submit Requests
Point Park University students, faculty and staff must use the work order system to notify the Physical Plant team of any facility-related issues or emergencies. The work order system is designed to streamline requests and to ensure a timely response.
- Place a work order
- Place a project request (if you would like to make a request for the Physical Plant to perform a project for your department, please complete this form)
Definitions of Work Order Classifications
Routine: This work will be reviewed and if possible completed within four business days.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Lights out
- Dripping faucet
- Minor repairs to living space
- Hanging anything on walls
Urgent: This work will be reviewed and if possible completed within two business days.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- More than one light out
- Leaks around toilet or tub
- Windows not working properly
Emergency: This work will be reviewed and if possible completed within one hour.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Fires
- Burning smells
- No power
- No water
- No heat
- Locks or door trouble
- Floods
