Accreditation
Point Park University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 1007 North Orange Street, 4th Floor, MB #166, Wilmington, DE 19801, 267-284-5011, and complies with all regulations of the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
The University’s specialized program accreditations are listed below:
- The program leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering technology is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, and programs leading to a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. - Programs leading to a Master of Business Administration degree, to a Master of Science in Health Care Administration and Management; a Bachelor of Science Post-Baccalaureate degree in Accounting, Business Management and Human Resource Management, a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Applied Computer Science, Business Management, Economics and Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing and Sales, and Sports, Arts, Entertainment & Music Business are accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education.
- Programs leading to certification in all education programs are approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
- The Psy.D. program in Clinical Psychology is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association (APA).
