A costume studio, paint deck, prop shop, scenic fabrication shop and electric and sound shop are located in the Playhouse.
The costume studio is located on the second floor in the Pittsburgh Playhouse.
The paint deck is a large space for painting drops on the wall or floor. It is two stories, with a perch for perspective viewing.
The prop shop is four separate spaces including offices, a main workspace, a vented crafts room and a fully loaded kitchen. It also features a loading door directly into the scene shop for easy access.
The scenic fabrication shop has an interior loading dock which allows stage sets to load in fully completed. Items can be loaded into the scene/paint shops, PNC Theatre, sound stage or directly to the freight elevator.
