Financial aid is any assistance received to help pay for college. There are four main types of financial aid available: scholarships, grants, loans and work-study programs. Financial aid packages generally include a blend of these aid types and are awarded based on merit and/or need.

In addition to financial aid, other options can help students cover college costs. These may include employer reimbursement, graduate assistant ships and even payment plans over time.
