The Para2Teacher Program at Point Park University, in partnership with Pittsburgh Public Schools Districtprovides paraprofessionals at Pittsburgh Public Schools the opportunity to complete one of the following two-year, fully online Master of Education degree programs while remaining employed by the District.

All graduate education programs at Point Park are fully accredited for Instructional I certification through the Pennsylvania Department of Education. 

Participating PPS paraprofessionals will receive their full salaries while enrolled in the program, tuition assistance, test prep assistance and preferential hiring.

Candidates approved by Pittsburgh Public Schools for the Para2Teacher program need to submit only their application and official transcripts.
