Classrooms and Computer Labs
Internet access is provided to all currently enrolled students in our campus computer labs and classrooms. Students will need to login to these computers with their university username and password to take advantage of this access.

Campus WiFi

The department of Information Technology Services provides campus-wide wireless access to the University community. There are three (3) available wireless networks on campus as we complete equipment upgrades.

In academic spaces you will find PointPark802.1x and PointParkWebLogon.

In residence hall spaces you will find PioneerNet.

PioneerNet is the newest network and will eventually be the only wireless network for a seamless connection as you move across campus, but all three are currently still in use at this time.

  • Log into Wifi using your @PointPark.edu domain account.
  • Instructions for connecting to campus WiFi can be found here.
  • If you are using a Chromebook laptop or Android phone, please email helpdesk@pointpark.edu

Residence Hall Network Access

In addition to campus WiFi, students residing in campus residence halls will be provided internet access via wall-mounted ethernet ports in their room. Students will need to provide their own ethernet cable and network adapter if their computer does not have an adapter buit in.
