Hooding Central

You are cordially invited to celebrate Point Park University's 2023 December Graduate Degree Hooding Ceremony. This formal occasion marks the completion of a chapter in the graduates' lives. This achievement has been met due to the graduates' hard work, dedication and support of their families. This is a special time for the University to honor the graduates, their families and their professors.     

Graduates who have submitted an application for graduation with the Office of the University Registrar by the appropriate deadlines will be recognized in the hooding program. You must RSVP by early December to participate in the hooding ceremony.  Each graduate is alloted up to 4 complimentary tickets for their guests to attend the ceremony.  RSVP form.

A cap, gown, and hood are required during the ceremony.  These items are available for purchase through the Point Park University Bookstore. Please note, the cutoff date to order regalia is November 17, 2023.

Graduate Degree Hooding Policy 
Students who have completed or who are registered to complete all degree requirements by the end of the Fall 2023 semester are permitted to participate in the hooding ceremony.

Arrangements have been made with a professional photographer to take pictures of each graduate as he or she receives the diploma cover. To purchase or obtain more information, click the icon below.
