Office of the Provost
As a co-educational urban university with a tradition of teaching excellence, Point Park University has nearly 4,000 students who may choose from among more than 100 undergraduate majors and graduate programs through the University's Conservatory of Performing Arts, Rowland School of Business and Schools of Arts and Sciences, Communication, Continuing and Professional Studies and Education.
Unlike some larger universities where students find themselves in huge classes taught by teaching assistants, Point Park offers students dedicated faculty and small classes that enhance the students' education both inside and outside of the classroom. Point Park students find that it is easy to make life-long connections with their professors because their classes are typically not larger than 25 students. There are many additional services in place to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.
Located in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh, Point Park is an anchor institution in the city's renaissance. The campus, which includes Point Park University's Pittsburgh Playhouse in Pittsburgh's Oakland section, has expanded from five buildings to one of the Downtown's largest footprints.
