Grade School Clinic (open to grades 3-5)

To participate in our programming, players must be entering grades 3-12 as of Fall 2019. Please note the below breakdown to determine which group you are eligible to participate in.

  • High School: entering grades 9-12
  • Middle School: entering grades 6-8
  • Grade School: entering grades 3-5

Each session is limited to 30 players. First come. First serve.

This camp is for high school girls who want to learn more about the Point Park University Women’s Basketball Program, improve their skills and play in a competitive environment.

This camp is for middle school girls who want to receive friendly instruction from our coaching staff. We will review and practice drills, fundamentals, ball handling, shooting, and passing. We will also offer post/guard and defense/rebounding instruction.

  • 10 years of collegiate coaching experience (NAIA, NCAA, USCAA, D1, D2, D3)
  • Professional Basketball Trainer (Gym Rate Performance Training)

Each session costs $50.00.

Players are allowed to sign up for multiple sessions. Each session includes 3 hours of instruction from our coaching staff and a take home souvenir.

In order to secure your spot, full payment is due at the same time as registration.

Our camps & clinics will take place on the campus of Point Park University in the Student Center Gym.

Student Center Gym
The gymnasium is located on the fifth floor. 
  • Players should wear basketball shoes and attire. Please bring a refillable water bottle.
  •  Players will be required to complete a Participation Agreement with a medical form before the start of camp. If a student fails to complete this form, they will NOT be allowed to participate. Forms will be emailed after payment has been received.
  • Spectators are welcome. A limited number of folding chairs will be available in the 5th floor gymnasium. Additional viewing space is located on the 6th floor of the Student Center.
  •  Same day registration will be available only if spots remain. Please call the day of to confirm: 412-392-6163. If spots are available, please allow enough time to register and complete our Participation Agreement with a medical form on the day of.
  •  Refunds will not be offered after payment is received. However, players who encounter unforeseen, extenuating circumstances may petition for an exception and should reach out to Heidi Ward, Director of Community & Summer Education at hward@pointpark.edu.
