"I’m more aware of the person I want to be, and I’m finally making decisions for myself and for my own happiness."

Michelle Iglesias

Why did you choose Point Park?

Small class sizes and all of the professors that I have are currently involved with their craft (acting in a play or film).

Who is your favorite professor, and why?

That’s really hard; I like all of them! If I had to choose I would say John McManus, he’s my voice/speech teacher. He has a cool Australian accent and every day he inspires me in a completely new and different way.

Where is the best view of the city?

I really like the view from the top of Heinz Field. The skyline is beautiful from the stadium.

What changes have you noticed in yourself since moving to Pittsburgh?

I’m more aware of the person I want to be, and I’m finally making decisions for myself and for my own happiness.

What activities are you involved with here at Point Park (both on campus and off)?

The rugby club, photography, and exploring around Pittsburgh with my friends.

Pittsburgh has some amazing food, what is your favorite dish to get in the 'Burgh?

Alligator bites at NOLA in Market Square! It’s like chicken on steroids!

Pittsburgh is the city of bridges, what else could Pittsburgh be “the city of?”

The city of “french fries with every meal.”

When someone says the word “Pittsburgh,” what comes to mind?

New beginnings. I feel like a lot of people come here to start fresh.
