A screening of Julien Nitzberg's documentary The Wild & Wonderful Whites of West Virginia will be shown Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the GRW Theater in Point Park's University Center. A question and answer session with the director will be held after the screening.

This event is free and open to all students and faculty, as well as the public.

The Wild & Wonderful Whites of West Virginia chronicles the White family of Booneville, W.V.

Nitzberg's other work includes The Wild World of Hasil Adkins, Emmy Award-winning Dancing Outlaw, Bury Me in Kern County and The Beastly Bombing or A Terrible Tale of Terrorists Tamed by the Tangles of True Love (which was named LA Weekly's Musical of the Year.

Nitzberg has written for HBO, Showtime, TNT, VH1 and NBC. He recently finished writing a script for HBO based on the life of Sputnik Monroe, a civil rights activist and professional wrestler. Nitzberg also recently completed a pilot for the USA Network based on This American Life contributing writer David Ellis Dickerson's memoir.
