Why did you choose to attend Point Park?

I was referred to Point Park during my time at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. The school accepted my credits from the Christian Leadership Program and after meeting with a representative from the school, I realized that the program was convenient for me as a mother and grandmother.

How did Point Park University help you prepare for your career?

The adult program was conducive to my busy schedule. The faculty worked around that schedule to help me learn and further my education.

What was your most beneficial experience at Point Park?

It's difficult to say because it was so unique. The faculty itself was very helpful. They understood that the college process can be overwhelming as an adult and they helped me see that I can be successful in working toward my degree.

What is your favorite memory at Point Park?

My favorite moment was graduating. The reality that I was successful just hit me. All of my family was there and it was awesome, especially when my granddaughter said, "Go Grandma!"

What advice do you have for today's students?

Be persistent. Don't give up, you can do it. It's never too late to get your education. The program at Point Park makes the dream a reality.
