Why did you decide to pursue an M.B.A. through Point Park's on-site program?

Point Park's on-site M.B.A. program is the pinnacle of GAI's corporate leadership and management training. Therefore, when I was selected by GAI to be a part of this program, I immediately accepted.

What do you like about the program?

I like many things about the program so far. Below are some examples.

  • The on-site M.B.A. program offers flexibility and convenience;
  • The professors have tailored aspects of the course work to be directly applicable to GAI's business environment;
  • I enjoy being in class with a select group of upper management level staff and interacting with them in an academic setting; and
  • I have always had an affinity for learning, and a business education offers a new world of information for me since my education to this point has been in engineering.

In what ways do you think an M.B.A. degree will benefit your engineering career?

This program has opened my eyes to the corporate world, and the associated business elements required to make a company thrive and succeed. As I advance my engineering career at GAI, the elements of practicing engineering as a business will become more important and relevant to my job responsibilities. My M.B.A. degree will give me the tools I need to fulfill these responsibilities, furthering my success and the success of GAI.

What is your future career goal?

My career goal is to advance through the management positions at GAI and eventually reach the executive level, thereby becoming a company leader.

Would you recommend Point Park's on-site M.B.A. program to other companies? If so, why?

I would absolutely recommend Point Park's on-site M.B.A. program to other companies, without reservation. I am receiving an advanced degree from a great program with unparalleled convenience. In addition, the program's professors have tailored our classes, when appropriate, to be directly relevant to GAI's business environment.
