Alumni Charlene Bidula and Jessica Zamiska, who chose to concentrate their MBA degrees in sport, arts and entertainment management, are definitely a testament to the power of networking. They landed their positions at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art through the connections they made with fellow students in Point Park's MBA degree program.

Bidula found out about the communications specialist position that was open at the museum through a colleague in one of her MBA classes. A few months after she accepted the position, Bidula then referred MBA classmate Zamiska to the Westmoreland Museum of American Art's manager of visitor services position.

In a somewhat reverse situation, freshman Alexandra Paone's choice to major in sport, arts and entertainment management at Point Park was solidified during her internship as a high school student at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art. "Doing internships in high school really helped prepare me for college and future internships. By working with Point Park alumni, I already had contacts coming into the University," says Paone.
