The Goal

We strive to provide Point Park University faculty, staff and students with the resources they need to create a culture of respect on campus through programming, education and daily conversations.

The creation of this office — along with the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Task Force — aligns with the 2030 Pioneer Vision Strategic Plan for the University. The second pillar of the strategic plan is to "establish and nurture an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and belonging and supports students to perform at the highest level."

We provide training for faculty, staff and classes, as well as resources for any member of our community looking for businesses or groups that reflect their identity.

We also amplify the excellent work going on in other departments around campus, such as the Teaching and Learning Lab and the Office of Title IX and Dispute Resolution.
