Fallin' for Fall at Point Park University Monday, September 23, 2019
Ready or not, fall is officially here. The leaves are changing, the air is getting crisper and sweaters are coming out of storage. Here are a few ways to fall into fall at Point Park University.
Take a walk through Point State Park
The Point is a beautiful place to visit during the summer, but seeing the leaves turn vibrant shades of red, orange and yellow is a whole different experience. Take in the scenery as you take a stroll around the Point.
Have a fall photoshoot
Arguably the best season for fashion, fall is a great time for a photoshoot. Throw on your favorite sweater, grab your best photography major friend and snap a few photos. Bonus points if you tag us on Instagram @PointParkU.
Support your home teams
Fall is a great time for sports. Show your support for Point Park men's and women’s soccer and basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball and cheer and dance this season. The Steelers, Penguins and Pirates all play during the fall, too.
Visit a haunted house
There are many ways to enjoy a scare this season. The Scarehouse is the ultimate spooky destination in Pittsburgh (not for the faint of heart). Our Campus Activities Board also takes students to Phantom Fright Night at Kennywood Park in October for a ghoulishly good time.
Celebrate Halloween
Halloween season starts on Oct. 1. Be sure to spruce up your dorm with spooky décor, indulge in your favorite Halloween candy and pick out the perfect costume for the Campus Activities Board’s annual Halloween dance on Oct. 31.
Enjoy fall drinks at Point Perk
Last but not least, revel in the iconic flavor of fall that is pumpkin spice. Grab your favorite seasonal drink at Point Perk to warm up on your way to class.
Happy first day of fall, Pioneers!
