Point Park women's soccer drops non-conference game, 2-0, at Westminster

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Westminster (Pa.) College scored a goal midway through each half of a 2-0, non-conference win over visiting Point Park University in a women's soccer game Thursday night.
Westminster (6-4) went up 1-0 on Kerri Inzinga's header in the 20th minute. The Titans built on their 1-0, halftime lead when Amanda Turi put in a cross in the 62nd minute.
Point Park's overall record now stands at 4-6, which is hurt by an 0-4 mark on the road. The loss at Westminster did not have much offense from either team with Westminster holding a 6-4 edge in shots. Point Park had two shots each half.
Mackenzie Pinto played all 90 minutes in goal for the Pioneers and made three saves. Westminster had two goal keepers combine on the shutout, Rachel Letscher and Madeline Fresch.
Point Park's next game is Tuesday at former AMC school Ursuline, which is now NCAA Division II.
