Profile: Veseleny enters her junior year coming off a sophomore season that saw her earn a regular starting position the second half of the year. She played in 26 of 27 games, and 11 of her 14 starts came in the last 14 games of the year. Veseleny is a swing player who has the ability to play on the wing and also play the four position despite being a little undersized for the latter role. Over her first two years, she has been a solid role player who has contributed consistently amide a very deep Point Park rotation. Veseleny was one of 10 players to average at least 4.0 points per game last year. In this her third season in the program, she has the ability to develop her game further as an upperclassman.
2009-10: Veseleny earned 14 starts in 26 games, and she scored in double figures six times. She led Point Park with a season-high of 14 points at PSU-Fayette. She made 6 of 7 field goals that game. Veseleny had 13 points on 5 of 7 shooting from the floor and was 3 for 3 from long range vs. Wilberforce. She was 3 for 3 from distance and scored 10 points at Shawnee State. She set a career high with nine rebounds at Mt. Vernon Nazarene. 2008-09: was one of a dozen players who made up the playing rotation last year in 2008-09. She gave the Pioneers solid minutes off the bench as a freshman while playing the No. 3 and No. 4 positions. She played in 22 games and made four starts. She had season highs of nine points and nine rebounds in a start vs. Roberts Wesleyan. Veseleny tallied eight points and eight rebounds vs. SUNY-Canton. High school: A 2008 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School…was a two-time WPIAL all-section player…earned three letters…was also all-section in softball.
