Pioneers compete at Carnegie Mellon Invitational

PITTSBURGH - The Point Park women's cross country team finished 11th out of 13 teams on Saturday at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.
The Pioneers' Lindsay Dill (Erie/McDowell) had a time of 21:36 placing her 45th out of 158 runners, and Sarah Austin (Sweet Valley/Lake-Lehman) finished 16 seconds later (21:52) in 49th place. Makenzie Smith (Butler/Butler) finished in 65th place with a time of 22:20.
Other top runners for Point Park were Leah Bubeck (24:08.26), Carina Jolie (24:08.98) and Leticia Henry (24:45) who finished in 95th, 96th and 102nd place, respectively.
Rounding out the team were Martine Saul (25:42), Crystal Woods (30:13) and Tiffany Lehman (32:10).
Point Park's next race is Oct. 24 at the Walsh Invitational. The women's race is at 11 a.m. with the men to follow.
