Profile: Anglin has been used mostly as a defensive presence during his first two years, but after a strong offseason, he is ready to give the Pioneers production on both ends of the floor during his junior season. The 6-5 forward from North Hills, Pa., was asked to guard the opposing team’s main post threat last year, and he started a career-high 14 games. For his career, Anglin has earned 20 starts in 49 games with 2.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. An improved offensive game this year will allow him more opportunities to look for his scoring and take advantage of his career field-goal percentage of .450. The athletic forward possesses a large wing span, strong leaping ability and size-19 shoes.
2009-10 (Sophomore): Anglin started the first 10 games of the season and started 14 games overall. He averaged 15.6 minutes per game. He registered season highs of eight points (vs. Rochester) and nine rebounds (at Houghton). He totaled 14 blocks, which is tops among returners.
2008-09 (Freshman): Played in 27 games and earned six starts. In 15 minutes per game he averaged 4.6 points and 3.9 rebounds while placing second on the team with a field-goal percentage of 49%. He registered double figures in scoring seven times with a career-high 15 points versus Penn State-Fayette. He posted one double-double with 13 points and a career-high 10 rebounds at Ohio State-Mansfield.
High school: A 2008 graduate of North Hills High School…was a four-time letterman and a WPIAL all-section player…was among the WPIAL leaders in dunks as a senior.
