English Language Proficiency
Point Park University, in partnership with ELS Language Center, provides a variety of options in English language instruction, with classes conveniently held on our Point Park campus. Successful completion of academic ELS allows you to matriculate to Point Park without taking the TOEFL or IELTS test to most of our programs.
Point Park University will also accept proof of completion of ELS Language Center's Intensive Level 112 as satisfying requirements for English proficiency-except for MA in Journalism and Mass Communication. Students who have met the university's normal academic requirements but have not satisfied the English requirement may apply for "conditional admission" based upon eventual completion of either the necessary ELS level or one of Point Park's accepted standardized test scores such as TOEFL or IELTS.
To learn more about ELS and the possibility of conditional admission to Point Park University, please visit ELS.
