Student Account Credit Balances can be used at the University's Bookstore
All you will need is your Point Park University Student ID and a signed bookstore authorization on file at the Office of Student Accounts.
Approximately 10 days prior to the start of the semester, students with anticipated credit balances can begin charging books and supplies up to $700 at the University's bookstore. Students can also use these funds online at the bookstore's website.
The bookstore charging period is limited. The end date is approximately one week after the semester begins. View this page for exact semester bookstore charging dates.
Any funds remaining after the bookstore charging period has closed will be credited back to the student's account and a student refund check will be processed according to the University's student refund policy.
Important information for accelerated students: Please be aware that bookstore charges can only be obtained during a certain time frame. If you are taking accelerated courses during the second session, please plan to get your books within the above time frame. That is the only time bookstore charges are available for the entire semester.
Fall 2015 Bookstore Charging Dates
August 19 through September 5
Students with credit balances may charge books and supplies for the fall semester beginning August 19, 2015 and ending on September 5, 2015. If you have questions regarding this process, please contact the Office Student Accounts Office at 412-392-3424.
