Bison Book Bundle

Beginning fall 24, Point Park University will offer the Bison Book Bundle, a new course material delivery model for full-time on-ground undergraduate students.  A flat fee will be charged directly to the student account.

Full-time on-ground undergraduate students are automatically enrolled in the Bison Book Bundle.  Students have the opportunity to opt-out of the program each semester.

Utilizing Student Account Credit Balances for Bookstore Purchases

Students with anticipated credit balances can also choose to use a portion of the funds to purchase books and supplies at the University’s bookstore.  The charges for these purchases will be applied to the student account after the add/drop period.

Dates to use credit balances at the bookstore are limited to the dates below:

Bookstore dates for full-time on-ground undergraduate students
Summer 24 April 22, 2024 - May 19, 2024
Fall 24  August 5, 2024 - September 8, 2024

 

*Students choosing to use student account credit balances to purchase books and supplies at the University’s bookstore must agree to the Financial Registration Agreement on PointWeb.  The agreement is made available annually.

Note:  Students do not need a credit balance to utilize the Bison Book Bundle.  All full-time on-ground undergraduate students are automatically enrolled with the option to opt out. 

Students with credit balances can choose to use both the Bison Book Bundle and a portion of credit balance funds for books and supplies purchased at the University Bookstore.  Students can also choose to use just one option.

 

 

Utilizing Student Account Credit Balances for Bookstore Purchases

Students with anticipated credit balances can choose to use a portion of the funds to purchase books and supplies at the University’s bookstore.  Students with credit balances of greater than $700 will be limited to use $700 at the bookstore.  Students with credit balances of less than $700 will be limited the amount of the credit balance on the account.  The charges for these purchases will be applied to the student account after the add/drop period.

Dates to use credit balances at the bookstore are limited to the dates below:

Bookstore dates for fully online students
Summer 24 Term I April 22, 2024 - May 19, 2024
Summer 24 Term II June 10, 2024 - July 7, 2024
Fall 24 Term I August 5, 2024 - September 1, 2024
Fall 24 Term II October 7, 2024 - October 27, 2024
