All you will need is a credit balance on your account, your Point Park University Student ID and a signed bookstore charge authorization on file at the Office of Student Accounts. 

Students with anticipated credit balances can charge books and supplies up to $700 at the University's bookstore. Students can also use these funds online at the bookstore's website.

The bookstore charging period is limited. Please see below for exact term/semester bookstore charging dates.

Any funds remaining after the bookstore charging period has closed will be credited back to the student's account and a student refund check will be processed according to the University's student refund policy.

Important information : Please be aware that bookstore charges can only be obtained during a certain time frame. If you are an on-ground student taking courses during the second session, please plan to get your books within the time frame listed below. This is the only time bookstore charges are available for the entire semester.

Bookstore Charge Authorization

To complete a Bookstore Charge Authorization:

  1. Log in to PointWeb
  2. Select "Students" 
  3. Select "Student Accounts" 
  4. Go to Forms and select "Bookstore Charge Authorization"
  5. Complete the form and select "Submit" 

To complete a Bookstore Charge Authorization on mobile devices:

  1. Log in to PointWeb
  2. Select “Students” from the collapsed menu (upper left)
  3. Click the blue square in the lower left corner and select the “Menu” tab
  4. Expand “Student Accounts” and select “Forms”
  5. Select "Bookstore Charge Authorization"
  6. Complete the form and select "Submit"
