What is required for admission into the Conservatory?

Students must be academically accepted into the University and artistically accepted. Artistic admission is based on an audition, interview and/or portfolio. Auditions are required for students who want to major in acting, dance and musical theatre. Interviews are required for stage-management and technical theatre/design majors. A portfolio submission and interview are required for cinema production, digital arts or screenwriting.

What if I am not artistically accepted into the Conservatory?

Applicants who are not artistically accepted into the Conservatory but are academically accepted into the University can attend Point Park for another major. (List of all undergraduate majors offered at Point Park University.)

What if I am not academically accepted into the University?

Students who are not academically accepted cannot attend Point Park for any major.

Does Point Park offer scholarships and monetary awards based on talent?
