The Conservatory of Performing Arts offers the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.)
- Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.)

Students who demonstrate exceptional talent in the audition process may be offered acceptance into the B.F.A. program upon entering the program. B.F.A. auditions are held for all other students following the completion of freshman year. Dance pedagody is a B.A. program only.
The Department of Theatre offers degrees in:
- Acting (B.A. and B.F.A)
- Musical theatre (B.A. and B.F.A.)
- Stage management (B.F.A.)
- Technical theatre/design (B.F.A)
For the acting and musical theatre programs, students may audition for the B.F.A. during sophomore year. Transfer students can apply for the B.F.A. program upon completion of one semester in the program. Please note: Any student transferring into the acting or musical theatre programs will be accepted as a freshman. Transfer students will receive elective credit for previous college-level theatre training.
Because of the hands-on training process involved in technical theatre and stage management, all entering students are accepted into the B.F.A. program.
Over the course of two years, students in the low-residency Master of Fine Arts in writing for the screen and stage program are required to attend three residencies of one to two weeks on Point Park's Downtown Pittsburgh campus. Courses will be completed online during the fall and spring semesters.
