Why partner with Stretch Internet?
A new era of video streaming for Point Park University athletics begins in the 2015-16 school year as the Pioneers begin their partnership with Stretch Internet, a leader in college athletics video streaming and the official video streaming provider of the NAIA and the NAIA Network.
"We are very excited to partner with Stretch Internet as our official video streaming provider," said Director of Athletic Communications & Assistant Athletic Director Kevin Taylor. "As the official streaming provider of the NAIA, it brings our department in line with the national office of the NAIA. We could not be more excited to have our video streaming events pulled into the platform that Stretch Internet provides to its schools around the NAIA and the KIAC.
"We are committed to providing our fans with continued video-streaming options so they may watch the Pioneers online around the world. With that goal in mind, we have partnered with Stretch Internet. The main thing that fans will recognize this year is that the broadcasts are no longer free of charge but rather in a pay-per-view model. Even before partnering with Stretch, we weren't going to be able to provide free video streaming this year due to changes within our previous provider. The pay-per-view model allows us to continue to provide a video streaming platform to our fans. And by partnering with Stretch, it will be one of the highest quality."
