Mark your calendar for the Fifth Annual Point Park Athletics Alumni Weekend on Friday-Sunday, Sept. 25-26, 2015! Reconnect with your Point Park teammates, coaches, staff and faculty with a fun-filled weekend in Pittsburgh!
The weekend includes a full slate of activities beginning on Friday, Sept. 25 with the Athletics Golf Outing at 10 a.m. The events continue on Saturday, Sept. 26 with the Alumni Reunion Games at 10 a.m. and the Pioneer Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at 6 p.m. (Reception at 5 p.m.).

Point Park Athletics Golf Outing -- 10 a.m. at Hickory Heights G.C., Bridgeville, Pa.
Tee it up at the Point Park Athletics Golf Outing in support of Pioneers athletics. Registration is at 9 a.m., shotgun start at 10 a.m. at Hickory Heights G.C. in Bridgeville, Pa. Cost is $125 per player ($500 per foursome) and includes 18 holes with cart, breakfast, lunch, dinner and prizes. There are also sponsorship opportunities. Proceeds benefit Point Park athletics. Alumni Reunion Games -- 10 a.m. at Green Tree Park & Student Center Gym
Suit up in your game gear and get back in play with Alumni Reunion Games for Baseball, Softball, Volleyball and M+W Soccer (Co-ed)! Volleyball will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Student Center Gym in Downtown Pittsburgh. For Baseball, Softball and M+W Soccer, gather at Green Tree Park at 9 a.m. for refreshments and warmups with play starting at 10 a.m. Following the games, there will be a post-game gathering at Aracri's Green Tree Inn. There is no cost to attend. All participants must register by completing the online registration. Go Pioneers!
Pioneer Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony -- 5 p.m. Reception, 6 p.m. Dinner
Celebrate the induction of this year's Pioneer Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2015 Randy Smith (Men's Basketball, 1989-93) and Rachel Roddy (Volleyball, 2007-10) with the induction ceremony Sept. 26, 2015. There will be a reception at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. in Lawrence Hall. Read more about the Class of 2015 at the link below:

Did You Know? A History of Point Park University Athletics Alumni Weekend
Since the inaugural Point Park University Athletics Alumni Weekend in the fall of 2011, the Pioneers athletic department has hosted this yearly tradition for Pioneer alums.
The Point Park University Athletics Alumni Weekend got its start in 2009 with the hosting of the Baseball & Softball Alumni Reunion Games in October. In the fall of 2010, Point Park held its 50th Anniversary Celebration, an event that included athletics alumni reunion games for baseball, softball, volleyball and men's and women's soccer as well as the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Following the success of the athletics portion of the 50th Anniversary Celebration, the inaugural Point Park University Athletics Alumni Weekend was held in the fall of 2011. The Point Park Athletics Golf Outing was held for the first time that year and was added to the start of the weekend, which also included the alumni reunion games and the Hall of Fame induction.
