Classes to resume for Thursday, Feb. 11
Wednesday, February 10, 2010
After careful consideration of weather and road conditions, Point Park intends to resume classes and daily business operations, to the degree possible, on Thursday, Feb. 11.
Students, faculty and staff are to exercise appropriate caution and good judgment based upon the weather and street conditions in their neighborhoods. Staff who expect or experience significant delays, or who are in fact unable to make it to campus, should notify their supervisor.
Faculty who are unable to make it in to campus for classes: We ask that you contact your students directly if you are unable to hold your class(es) as scheduled.
The Children's School will operate on its normal hours.
We thank our students, faculty and staff during this difficult weather situation, and extend thanks in particular to those who individuals who maintained limited campus operations throughout the weekend and week.
We know that as we move forward with this term that patience will be required to make adjustments as necessary. We appreciate the University community’s understanding as we all deal with the ramifications of cancelled classes and activities.
We do urge that given the unpredictability of the weather and road conditions, you should check www.pointpark.edu for any updates.
