Rocky Bleier Among Special Guests Celebrating Annual Myron Cope Day at Point Park University
Steelers legend Rocky Bleier will join Pittsburgh media heavyweights as the School of Communication at Point Park University celebrates its second annual Myron Cope Day February 20.
Four panel events will be held to discuss Cope’s legacy and career as a communication professional in Pittsburgh.

Myron Cope: My Dad with Elizabeth Cope

Bernie Ankney, dean of the School of Communication, and Guy Junker, retired WTAE sports broadcaster, will emcee the activities in the Ballroom on the third floor of Lawrence Hall.
“Myron Cope forged a legendary career that is worthy of both honor and reflection,” said Ankney. “His importance to the Pittsburgh communication landscape is reflected by this impressive group of people taking part in this day to honor and discuss his legacy and impact. Having Elizabeth join us to talk about her dad will offer more personal insight into a man who remains beloved by Pittsburghers even 15 years after he left us.”
